About the GLBT Resource Center of Michiana

The GLBT Resource Center of Michiana serves the GLBT community of the Northern Indiana and Southern Western Michigan areas, including South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, LaPorte, Buchanan, and Niles and everywhere in between!

We offer weekly support groups for GLBT men, women, and youth.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to become a recognized center of value and pride for our community, a resource for all and a vibrant gathering space. We will provide a safe, non-smoking, non-alcoholic environment for members of the GLBT community, their allies, families and the community at large.

Mission Statement

Or mission is to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for all Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender people; their friends, allies and families, to learn and share; to aid in the prevention of discrimination and the education about diversity, as well as discrimination of all types. It is the philosophy of the Michiana GLBT Resource Center to treat our customers with the respect they deserve and to prove to others that the members of the GLBT community are individuals who are capable of making great contributions to society.
